What is the "Mini Stars" Musical Theatre Workshop?
The StarStruck Summer Mini Stars Musical Theatre Workshop is a 5-week educationally based program held at StarStruck Performing Arts Center that teaches students entering Kindergarten through 3rd grades about acting, singing, puppetry, characterization, music and much more. The workshop focuses on building character, honing theatrical skills, enhancing self-esteem, and forming new friendships through acting, dancing, music and a shared love of the theatre.
Who runs the "Mini Star" program?
StarStruck produces 12 shows per year. Past performances include: The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Ten Dwarfs, The Lion Queen, Peter Pan and Royal Revue. The professional and experienced production instructors are Peter & Jennifer Jones with a 4 member support staff.
When and where is the "Mini Stars" Program held?
The summer workshop takes place Mondays through Fridays from 9AM to 12:30PM during the summer semester at StarStruck located at 500 SE Dixie Hwy Suite 3 in the Harmony Building (across from Kiwanis Park) in Downtown Stuart.
How do I enroll my child in the "Mini Stars" Program?
You will fill out a Mini Stars registration form and pay a deposit by May 1st to secure a spot for your child. The balance of the tuition will be due by June 1st. Enrollment is limited. There is NO audition required for the Mini Stars Program.
What will my child need each day?
All your Mini Star needs are black jazz pants, a “got talent?” or StarStruck show tee-shirt, a pair of black jazz sneakers and their lunch each day. All music, scripts, art supplies, costumes and props, etc. will be provided for your child and are included in the tuition.
What will my child gain from the Musical Theatre Workshop?
Should your child choose to become a Mini Star, they will learn various aspects of musical theatre. They will grow not only as performers, but as individuals. The cast members will leave the experience with enhanced esteem, a respect for the discipline it takes to be a quality performer and a feeling of pride for their accomplishments.

StarStruck produces 12 shows per year. Past performances include Suessical Jr,. Disney's 101 Dalmatians, Disney’s Cinderella KIDS, Lion Queen, Larger Than Life, The Zoo Revue, Peter Pan, Flat Stanley and Beauty & the Beast Jr.. The professional and experienced production instructors are Peter & Jennifer Jones with a 4 member support staff.

This StarStruck Musical Theatre Workshop is an educationally based program for students entering high school that teaches kids the many details involved in putting together a professional musical production. The Workshop focuses on building character, honing theatrical skills, enhancing self-esteem, and forming new friendships through acting, dancing, music, and a shared love of the theatre.
Who runs the Musical Theatre Workshop?
StarStruck produces 12 shows per year. Past performances include: Tommy, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Sweeney Todd SE, Rent: SE, Grease, Les Miserables SE, Fiddler on the Roof, Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma, Guys & Dolls Jr., and West Side Story. The professional and experienced production staff includes Jennifer Jones, Director; Peter Jones, Musical Director.
What if I am going out of town at any time during the rehearsal or performance period?
Cast members may not have any conflicts during the rehearsal or performance period.
How do I enroll my child in the Musical Theatre Workshop?
Students must audition to be accepted into the program. Auditions are held at StarStruck Studios. Call the studio at (772) 283-2313 to find out this year's audition dates (generally in April).
When do I find out what my child's role will be in the Teen Star Summer Musical?
By the first week of the workshop, your child will receive their role(s).

Private Lessons
Private lessons at StarStruck Studios are given in piano, voice, guitar, acting and audition preparation. Students can choose from either 30-minute or one hour weekly sessions.
For piano and voice lessons, you may schedule a 60-minute session to combine study in both areas during one lesson. An instructor may ask a potential student to participate in an interview / audition process that is conducted by the instructor.
FOR ADULTS: you may pay per lesson and commit to a per month schedule rather than weekly. Ask the office manger for more details.
FOR STUDENTS under 18: Tuition is billed PER SEMESTER. Depending upon which day you choose determines your payment. Ask the office manager for availability and payments.

Group Classes
Group classes at StarStruck Studios are given in voice, acting, musical theatre, improv, and dance.
