MARIA-ELENA ALFIERI

Maria-Elena Alfieri put on the legendary “red shoes” in September 1974, and since has never stopped dancing. Her performance career, spanning two decades and six continents, includes Regional Ballet Companies, Dinner Theater, Summer Stock, Repertory Theater, European Tours, Cunard Cruise Lines and Walt Disney World Productions. Favorite roles include: Louise in “Carousel” (Moonlight Productions), Rosalia in “West Side Story” and Ruth “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, (Weber-Prianti Productions).

Jessica Martinez

JESSICA MARTINEZ

 

Jessica began dancing in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 4 years old, and by the age of 8 was competing regionally and nationally. She continued to be a competitive dancer in all areas of dance winning many trophies, awards, and recognition. At 21, Jessica began to teach dance. She trained and became certified in Cecchetti Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. She is currently training in “Zumba” and will be continuing her teaching career with Dance Educators of America. Jessica is dedicated to improving the education of students, as well as furthering the professional and ethical standards in the performing arts and dance in all its forms.

RAE RANDALL

RAE RANDALL’s training is extensive with a BFA degree in Drama/Dance/Voice from the North Carolina School of The Arts; an MFA in Acting/Directing from The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.; has trained with such professionals as William Ball (ACT-San Francisco), Joseph Chakin (Open Theatre-NYC), Tom Haas (IN), and movement experts Graciela Binaghi and Marcel Marceau.

RAE RANDALL is a veteran Equity (AEA-Actor's Equity Association) Actress who has performed with professional repertory theatres across the country with rave reviews for her distinguished character work. She has performed with long time movie character actor John Randolph, British actor Michael York (Austin Powers), David Garrison (Married with Children), Berlinda Tolbert (The Jeffersons), Mark Margolis (Equalizer, Scarface), Miquel Sandoval (Clear & Present Danger), Gary Beach (The Producers) and this past April, with William Katt (Greatest American Hero) at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. (You might recall she and her husband’s (John Carlile) delightful performances as the older couple Frauline Schnider & Herr Schultz--in Peter Jones Entertainment production of “Cabaret”)

Rae Randall has directed & choreographed shows for and taught classes at Riverside Theatre, The Center for the Arts, The BRITT (Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre Training), Palm Beach Community, Northstage-Eissey Theatre, Palm Beach Atlantic University, The Studio Theatre Company, The Unexpected Theatre Experience and of course, StarStruck.   Prior to moving to Florida, Rae Randall did the same professional work at the University of North Carolina, Glade Valley Learning Village, The Training Ground (OR), Actor's Repertory Theatre (FL), Indiana Repertory Theatre (IN), and Casablanca Modeling Agency (Atlanta);
Her expertise in teaching actors –- from novice to professionals – spans all form of theatre:  musical, classic, comedy and drama.

JOHN CARLILE


John is a man of many talents – Actor, Director, Writer, Singer, Composter.  He and his wife, Rae Randall are the creators of their puppet show “John & Rae & Friends”, featuring their original puppets, stories and songs.  He has performed with StarStruck in CHICAGO, and in the role of Herr Shultz in CABARET. Other roles include: El Gallo (Fantasticks), Patrick O’Reilly (Musical Comedy Murders 1940), Cratchit/Undertaker (Christmas Carol), Marley/Mrs. Cratchit (Farndale Christmas Carol), Chanal (What A Night), Rick Steadman (The Nerd).  He is a Resident Company member with Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival.  John is also a Certified Artist with the Center for Creative Education (Theatre, Songwriting, Beading, Mask Making, Visual Arts).  A true Renaissance man, he thrives on creating.

Melanie Steinke

MELANIE STEINKE

Melanie Steinke made her debut with the Columbus, Ohio Symphony Orchestra as a soloist for many major works, including the Mozart Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, the Rutter Magnificat, and many others. Her many performances have included roles in Carmen, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, Carnival, and many guest solo appearances with the St. Lucie Chorale and Palm Beach Opera Orchestra. In Columbus she also accompanied many choral groups and musicals at Capital University, including children’s operas Noah’s Flood and The Little Sweep, as well as major works such as Carmina Burana. Locally, she works as an accompanist for musicals, concerts, churches, and recitals throughout the area. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Melanie Steinke completed her formal music studies at the Capital University Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ohio. Whether on stage singing a role, in the orchestra pit playing piano, or in the studio working with voice and piano students, Melanie is at home on the Treasure Coast.

LUIS ERNESTO RIVERA

The Guitarist Luis Ernesto Rivera is originally from the island of Puerto Rico. He completed his studies at the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico obtaining a bachelor’s degree in guitar performance. During his years in the conservatory Mr. Rivera studied the classical guitar with Alberto Rodríguez Ortiz, Leonardo Egúrbida, Luis Enrique Juliá and Iván Rijos.  He has participated in master classes with internationally known artists such as: Carlos Barbosa-lima, Benjamin Verdery, Carlos Pérez, Eladio Sharron and José Antonio López.  He has performed in the National Classical Guitar Competition in Mayaguez Puerto Rico,  The Art Museum of Puerto Rico, XII international Book Fair Of Puerto Rico and La Fortaleza, (The Fortress) in the current official residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico and the oldest executive mansion in the New World. Mr. Rivera Currently lives in Port Saint Lucie, Florida where he performs, gives classes and has formed part of the Treasure Coast Classical Guitar Society.

Lynne Barletta

LYNNE BARLETTA

 

Lynne Barletta began her art career at age 14 in Colorado with her first commissioned portrait, which blossomed over the next 30 years into the vibrant multi-media creations that hang in many homes and businesses globally, including several players from the Denver Broncos, several large painting commissions from the Coors family, the Denver athletic club and many more. Her work has been featured on TBN, West Palm Beach Education channel, and has graced galleries and shows over the years. Lynne will be the featured artist during the 9-11 display at the new Port St Lucie Civic Center for 2009.

Lynne’s Florida scenery and prophetic art is reproduced in over 20 limited edition prints series. She paints large-scale oils as well as watercolors, pencil and pastels. An art major at University of Northern Colorado, she also studied privately under Dee Toscano, master pastelist, and portrait artist Dodie Rufner Ballantine.
